I just like making music

I love to create stuff, it doesn't really matter what it is, or what medium I use... I just like to make things. Sometimes I just get that itch and I have to scratch it. I listen to lots of different styles of music depending on my mood, but mostly I love my deep house and hip hop music. I love the late 80's and 90's hip hop scene, it was unique to it's era and I am still finding hidden gems to this day. I am also heavily influenced by modern day artists in the deep house/trance scene.

I used to use Ableton Live for creating my tracks but I made the switch to Logic Pro X recently, and I love it. They are both great DAWs and I have a lot of fun trying out new beats. I just need more plugins maaaan!  I really am learning at the moment, trying to find out how to make my music more interesting, it's a fun journey and I have a looong way to go. I have had some radio plays on Amazing Radio (it may just be because I pay them lol!!) but hey it's a start. I am not doing this for fame baby, it's for my own enjoyment, if other people like my music too..? Well, then that's worth its weight in gold to me on its own.

For my day job I am a Web Developer and Graphic Designer, and run my own company in the Highlands of Scotland with my friend. I manage to get out and about too though, you can't spend your whole life in front of a screen! "You'll get pasty man...", so I have been out munro bagging this year, 8 down.... 270 something to go!
